MLA can't decide what rules apply from one year to the next, so I say punctuation is STYLE, not hard and fast rule play. And I aced my way through Honors English courses all though college without adhering to someone else's rules but by using logic. Those who can write, write...those who can't need rules.

Yeah spelling was my low point. Agreed. I am not a writer but I am damn good at following the rules. Hence the creation of the Editor!

Oh, yes. But does this mean that I pay attention to the rules, therefore I'm "doomed" to be an editor? Actually, I would love to be an editor in NYC.
